Meet the dedicated leaders who guide Carverdale Community Fellowship Church with vision, compassion, and unwavering faith. Our leadership team is committed to serving God’s people and equipping the church to grow spiritually and thrive in community.

On July 2, 1977, Superintendent Freddie Solomon was appointed Pastor of Carverdale Community Church of God in Christ following the unexpected passing of his uncle, Elder C.E. Solomon, the church’s founder and visionary leader. Though the loss of their beloved leader was a significant challenge for the small church, God had already prepared Superintendent Solomon to take up the mantle and continue the work. With divine guidance, Superintendent Solomon was supernaturally strengthened and equipped for the task ahead. Under his leadership, the church experienced remarkable growth and transformation.
In 1992, the church took a bold step forward by purchasing property for a new sanctuary. Despite facing numerous obstacles, God’s faithfulness turned every challenge into a testimony of His glory. On November 17, 1996, the beautiful new sanctuary was completed and dedicated to the Lord. Yet, the journey did not stop there. Phase two of the church’s vision came to fruition with the addition of a Youth Ministry wing, eight classrooms, and a dedicated Children’s Church area. Further expansion continues as the church has acquired two adjacent lots, with plans to extend the Fellowship Hall and create a play area for children.
Superintendent Solomon is a devoted scholar of God’s Word and a dynamic, anointed gospel preacher. He is passionate about strengthening relationships and families, often conducting impactful marriage and relationship seminars. His deep love for the congregation, especially the youth, is evident in his ministry. A highly respected leader in the community, Superintendent Solomon serves as the president of the Community Alliance of Churches and Impact Pastors, mentoring young pastors and fostering unity among church leaders.
Above all, Superintendent Solomon is a loving and dedicated husband to Elect-Lady Earlene Solomon. Together, they are proud parents of four children and grandparents to eight beloved grandchildren.
At Carverdale Community Church of God in Christ, Superintendent Solomon leads with a clear mission: “To help every believer walk in their divine purpose and share the hope of Jesus Christ with the world.”
“Our mission is to help every believer walk in their divine purpose and share the hope of Jesus Christ with the world.”

First Lady Earlene Solomon faithfully serves in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Freddie Solomon, for over 48 years. Together, they have raised four children and are blessed with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A devoted servant of God, Lady Solomon leads the Women’s Ministry and coordinates donations for homeless women and children. She is also a certified Christian Counselor through Restoring Souls Christian Counseling.
After 30 years of service with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, she retired from the Operations Department. Known for her warm hospitality, she loves caring for God’s people—always making sure snacks are ready after Bible Study!
Her life is guided by Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Lady Solomon encourages everyone to give God a full “Yes”—not just in words, but from the heart.
“Our mission is to help every believer walk in their divine purpose and share the hope of Jesus Christ with the world.”
